Information about the registration for the Festival

Dear friends of the Festival,

the registration starts on the 1st of April.

Before you register make sure to read under "news" about the Festival updated information.

Registration
After you correctly filled out and sent the registration form you will get a confirmation by email, confirming that we received your application.
Please note: only when you received this confirmation we received your application and will proof it. This confirmation is the verification of your application for the Festival.

Proof / registration receipt
After we proofed your application form you will get a registration receipt with all information via email.
The registration is only valid after the organizers of the Festival proofed it. They accept under reserve to decline several applications under certain circumstances.

Payment / payment confirmation
Once you have received your registration receipt, your registration will be approved and valid. You will then be required to pay the full festival fee. The bank information will be shared on the registration receipt.
Your reservation is only confirmed once the deposit has been received within the specified timeframe outlined in the registration receipt. If the deposit is not received within this time, your registration will be considered invalid.
Please contact us before in case you have trouble with the payment.

Please note
: we do not confirm receipt of payments on our account, so please check your bank statement directly to verify if the funds have been deducted or if they have been returned due to incorrect details.

Cancellation fees:
If you cancel your registration till 6 weeks before the Festival we keep 50€.
If you cancel from 6 till 4 weeks before the Festival we keep the deposit of 100€.
If you cancel from 4 till 2 weeks before the Festival we keep the deposit of 200€.
Cancellations from 2 weeks till the day before the Festival will cost 300€.
If you cancel on the 1st day of the Festival and later you own us the full fee (according to the date of your registration).

Once the maximum number of participants is reached, your registration will be placed on the waiting list. If places become available, they will be allocated according to the order on the waiting list.
If you need to cancel your registration, your place is non-transferable and will be allocated by us from the waiting list.

Photo/Video permissions
Filling out the registration form you will give the permission to the contactfestival freiburg to use photo/video material of the Festival for documenting reason in the Internet and on DVD (Handling the privacy issue on photo/video material - LINK)
